VIBRANT SOULS NON-PROFIT LAUNCHES INTERNET-BASED COMMUNITY
Organization Seeks To Transform The Worlds Relationship To Life
SAN FRANCISCO (May 20, 2003) Vibrant Souls, a non-profit organization, announced today the official launch of its website, www.vibrantsouls.org, an online portal where people can participate in an online community through posting a profile, or memorial tribute, that shares the life of their loved ones who have died.
The mission of Vibrant Souls is to transform the worlds relationship to life. Upon its founding, the organization created the Vibrant Souls Website to form an online community that will transform how people live their lives by uniting the life journeys of those who have died with those who are living. Vibrant Souls believes that all people possess a Vibrant Soul and that a persons life is considered incomplete when there are unfulfilled goals, dreams, and aspirations at the time of their death. Through the community, Vibrant Souls seeks to connect the living with the dead to create a profound shift in the quality of life experienced by all people, cause people to live their lives fully, and to inspire a transformation in the way people relate to one another.
Vibrant Souls.org is an online community that allows families to post pictures of their loved ones and add stories to the memorial tributes page, with favorite things and details about what their loved ones had hoped to accomplish in life. Vibrant Souls invites visitors to the site to take on completing the life of the Vibrant Souls posted to the site. Vibrant Souls believe that this action will inspire people around the world to lead more full and positive lives and create a truly global community.
"Throughout the four days that followed the 9/11 attacks, I walked through my life with a heaviness brought by images of the violent way the people died in the planes, the Pentagon, and the World Trade Center, said Tracy Hutchinson, Executive Director and Founder of Vibrant Souls. I continue to think about all the Vibrant Souls who have had their lives cut short, including those in the Oklahoma Federal Building bombing, murder victims such as Matthew Sheppard and Laci Peterson, and those who perished in the Rhode Island Nightclub Fire. It concerned me that like myself, others might fail to see beyond the horrific way these people died. I wanted to create a place that would focus on the lives people led, allow others to connect with them and help each other heal, thus allowing for an inspired awakening to take place."
Visitors to the site can take on the life of a Vibrant Soul and fulfill their dreams - helping to heal anger, depression and fear. This process will also allow people to realize that there may be dreams, goals and aspirations in their own lives which remain unfulfilled or postponed to be realized in a future that may or may not come. Through fulfilling a Vibrant Souls lost dream that person may begin to pursue his or her own dreams - today.
Ultimately, Vibrant Souls will create a profound shift in the quality of life experienced by all people, helping them live fully, realizing goals, dreams and aspirations. Vibrant Souls will inspire a global transformation in the way people relate to one another.
Each memorial tribute will be personally uploaded to the site by the Vibrant Souls organization and communication with the families will be monitored.
