Joyce loved to dance. She really enjoyed being surrounded by people she loved and that loved her.

Joyce loved Eric Clapton. She referred to him as "god". She like The Allman Brothers and Billy Idol.

Joyce was a lover of all types of music. She particularly enjoyed The Ramones, The Cure and Yes!

Any horror show or movie.

Joyce was fascinated by vampire folklore and travelled to Transylvania.

Joyce enjoyed anything vegetarian and loved chinese food. She became a vegetarian so "a cow could live for one more day." She loved Godiva chocolates.

Joyce like to go horseback riding and could often be found kick-boxing and shooting at the rifle range.

Joyce spent her spare time painting, working out, and caring for animals.

Joyce loved the simplest of joys - spending time with friends and family over a good cup of coffee and some great chocolate.

If there was one area on which Joyce wanted to place a greater emphasis, it would have been her love for animals. Given the means, she would have started a shelter for unwanted animals and strays. This shelter would have provided the animals with medical care and safe place to stay until loving homes could be found for them. She was particularly fond of horses and dogs. Joyce would have devoted more time to painting. Years ago, she exhibited some of her work in galleries in New York City. For Joyce, art in any form was a way of celebrating life.

At the time of her death, Joyce was working toward living a life that allowed her to spend more time with her friends and family. She was aspiring to a simpler life. She wanted to work less hours.

Joyce may not have considered herself in this way, but to many people, she was a muse. She simply inspired people with her energy for life, and her way of going about making her own life meaningful and fulfilling. Joyce dreamed of being happy and had a way of helping other to feel happy and good about themselves. She always tried to encourage all of her friends to be the best they could be and was known for pushing people towards achieving their personal goals. She would see the best in everyone and would remind people of their inner and outer beauty all of the time. She did not like to be sad. She hated even more to see anyone else be sad. She would do anything in her power to make life better for someone else. If she loved someone, she loved them with her whole heart. She was an amazing friend because of her giving spirit. It was always better when she was around.

Joyce wanted to have more time for herself, her family and her friends. She loved people and wanted to spend as much time with them as possible. She took her job at the World Trade Center in the hopes that it would lead to greater financial security and, ultimately, more free time.
